Your Own Personal Escapism
In an age where we are all connected it’s getting more and more difficult to find your own personal space. Do you ever get the feeling that sometimes it can all get a little bit too much? Do you feel like sometimes you need to get away from the daily grind? Do you sometimes find that all you need is a little tranquillity?
If you were to describe your perfect getaway, what would it be? If I were to describe my perfect getaway I would describe to you somewhere that is far away from it all. Possibly in a forest? Somewhere where I could be completely alone, with the comfort of just my loved ones for company. Does this sound familiar?
Now imagine having a space in which you can get away from all the noisy clutter of everyday life. A place where you can just relax and get away from it all. Leave the phone on silent and listen to the kids to their own devices and just chill out, but this place is in your back garden.
A place where you can just get back to basics with the feeling of escapism, yet you’re not alone in a forest, you’re in the comfort of your own home. A place that can surround you with calmness and relaxation. Your own personal take on the space in which you would use your garden room for could be something wildly different to what I’ve described, but that’s the brilliance of a garden room. It can be used to any function; an art room, a gym or even (dare I say it) an office. Whatever it is to you, a garden room is a functional and versatile place for your own personal escapism.
