Toxic Time Out Checklist
We’re all exposed to an array of toxins on a daily basis; in the food we eat, in the air we breathe and through our skin.
Here’s Beyond Organic Skincare’s top ten checklist to help you get some time out from toxins and detoxing your body.
1. Drink more of the cold stuff. We mean water…put down the wine bottle!
2. Choose natural or organic products for your face and body. Your skin is like a sponge, absorbing 60% of what you put on it, so it’s just as important to be aware of what your putting on your skin as it is what’s on your plate. Avoid anything with a cocktail of synthetic fragrances, colours and parabens.
3. Cut processed food. If you can’t understand or read the ingredient list then put it back on the shelf. Keep it simple and fresh. Cook from scratch using only real ingredients.
4. Move your body. Exercise regularly to help improve circulation, fitness and overall well being.
5. Reduce stress. Practice meditation, take a yoga class, walk or have a massage. Whatever helps you to reduce the stress of day-to-day life, do it.
6. Eat plenty of antioxidant rich foods. We’re talking nuts, seeds, berries and green veg.

8. Avoid alcohol or better still cut it out completely if you can.
9. Swap coffee and tea for hot water and fresh lemon each morning.
