Biggest Ever Home Show a Success
The Cornwall Home & Lifestyle Show, which took place on 3rd and 4th May, was the biggest yet with over 100 home, garden and lifestyle businesses exhibiting and more than 2500 people attending during the two days.
The event, supported by Cornwall Living and Pirate FM as official media partners, had a new home of itself this year at The Royal Cornwall Showground, which made for an impressive venue with both indoor and outdoor exhibition space.
“The growth of the show from 43 to over 100 exhibitors along with the move to a much larger venue has been a real success,” said event organiser Andrew Weaver. “It’s always a gamble to change but we’re really happy with the results and are already excited and planning for next years show.”
Other improvements this year included the range of exhibitors from interiors and garden to architecture and renewable energy suppliers, along with professional services, and lifestyle products, providing something for everyone.
Exhibitor Gary Parks from Parks Interiors said; “It’s been exciting to see the show grow and establishing itself as a key date in the annual event calendar, not only for Cornwall but for the South West. We’re very much looking forward to returning next year.”
Attendee Pat Williams said; “We had a fantastic experience and were able to pick up lots of ideas. The show was big enough to showcase a wide range of businesses, but intimate enough to have lots of in depth discussions. Well done to everyone and thank you.”
The winner of the pre event registration competition to win a 2-night stay at The Cornwall Hotel & Spa Estate is Richard and Victoria Glanville from Bristol.
